As a member of a highly trained flight crew you are
part of a team who are responsible for the safety of
their passengers. Most flight attendants accept and
are in fact proud of this key responsibility.
Course Duration - 22 Weeks
This course is an initial Flight Attendant Training
Programme run by NZPTC and Airline Training Solutions
New Zealand. It is aimed at those people who are focused
on a career
as a flight attendant. This is the most comprehensive
flight attendant training course available in Fiji.
New Zealand Pacific Training Centres are the first and
only training provider offering specialized Flight Attendant
Training in Fiji.
21 weeks of course will be held at NZPTC. Part of the
21 weeks- 02 weeks will be with be conducted by Tutors
from Airline Training Solutions, New Zealand and the
final week will be in New Zealand. The last 1 week of
training will be with Airline Solutions in Auckland,
New Zealand
Commencement of the course:
*16th July, 2008 - first class - in progress
*21st October, 2008 -second class
How Will this Course Assist Me to Become a Flight
Attendant?
Like any employer, airlines are looking to employ people
who have the skills and attributes they want. Imagine
being able to tell an airline that you have a certificate
for a course which covers over 175 topics and that you
know about different types of emergency equipment, or
what a MEL (Minimum Equipment List) is and so on.
Completion
of this course is going to demonstrate to an airline
that you are serious about a career as a flight attendant,

Course Costs & Other Requirements
The course costs $6,525.00 ($5,800 plus VAT). Please

Entry
Criteria
19-25 years of age
Minimum height-5ft 3in
Weight in proportion to your height
Successfully Completed Form 6 education
Other
Requirements for the course:
-
Must have a clean police record
- Possess
a passport
- Be
able to lodge your own visa for entry into New Zealand
for the final week of training. NZPTC will assist
with a visa letter.
- Be
able to pay your return airfare to New Zealand and
the meals.
- Swimming
Must be a competent swimmer by the end of the course
Computer
Must
have basic computer certificate from NZPTC. Skills NZPTC
will make arrangements to have you
complete these courses at an added cost.
Funding
Your funding can also come through FNPF and Fiji Sugar
Cane Growers Fund
Boarding
Full Boarding facilities are available at Nadi campus.

Facilities weeks twin share accommodation with 3 meals
